Coralife endcaps POC...suggestions?

My coralife T12 endcaps have never worked right. My timer clicks them on when my main lights go off and each and every time I have to wiggle the end caps to make my NO's come on. At first I thought it was my two year old NO tubes that were worn, or maybe corroded end connections so,.... a month later, I bought new T12 tubes for my dawn/dusk times.

Same thing. the connection themselves are simply loose and sloppy. Anybody know of a better product? Or maybe a fix for this problem? I tried building up the tubes's connections with foil - no luck. Same problem. Thanks all.

Hmm interesting question....I would recommend getting a new unit. IF your connections are that sloppy you dont want the electricity to arch from one pin to another. Getting a new fixture is actually pretty cheap and can be bought at your Local Hardware store usually, for around $10

The problem I had with my previous hardware store variety caps is that thay were essentialy exposed and would quickly corrode. Of course, at least they worked for a while.

I've had nothing but junk from Coralife. They lost a customer.
