My tank has also been set up for 5 months and I have tons of it. Here is what I did; measure and keep calcium levels in check. Ideally about 400. Also I bought some less expensive live rock from my
LFS and several pieces (4) with a lot of coraline growth on them. (one was about 75% covered) I also picked different stores to get a variety of different coraline algae. (red, purple, pink etc). I also have stong current to help "seed" the other less covered rocks. Now , I have about 75% coverage on all of the rocks, even my snails!
Get a good
ca test kit (sailfert) measure your calcium, and post your levels. Good luck.
