CUC for high Nitrates? And tester?

My nitrates are very high - looks like 60-70.

Will a good big batch of snails help clean up some of the excess waste around the tank and bring it down? I have zero algae issues.

What is the best tester? I am using the Salifert kit. May be willing to spend the $ on a digital tester.

Adding a bigger Cuc is not going to solve your issue ,
your best bet would be a few large water changes
with nitrates that high your phosphates are probably high too
sulfert is a good test kit
if you have that much excess waist I would suggest backing off feedings for like a week

The answer to your question is no. Snails will not help with high nitrates.
