When buying on line with like 3-4 day shipping should I even bother buying cured rock? will it make any difference if its cured or uncured?

If this is going in an established tank you want cured rock, but with 3-4 day shipping I would expect some die-off which can cause a ammonia spike.
If it's going into a new setup, I would go with uncured rock and that is all that's needed to cycle the tank.
