Curious!!!

I have some pink growing on my rock( thought it was corraline) but it has strange thick clear tubes growing out of it... Any idea what this is? I can't get a picture that's clear enough to define what I'm looking at so...

The pink could be any number of things, as could the tubes. Have a look here and see if this is helpful at all. This will be difficult to ID without a picture.

Still no pic but my lfs owner came by and told me this is a sponge
