Some sites say these die in a clean reef aquarium, but not mine!

When the first one showed up as a hitchhiker, I thought "cool". Then more and more appeared. After two months, there are >20 with no end in sight. I would like to bring tem under control (I wouldn't mind a few), but I don't want to do anything that would threaten either of my bubble anemones, corals, fish, etc. Any suggestions?

Sounds like you have aiptasia rather than curlyqs ;) Peppermint shrimp are noted for eating them, as well as the copper band butterfly (but if you get one of these get the Austrailian, no chance of getting a cyanide caught fish). You can also inject them with kalk paste, white vinegar, or lemon juice I am also hearing great things about a product called Joe's Juice, although I've never used it.

I have a friend who had a HUGE aiptasia problem... Based on his experience, I'd say the peppermint shrimp is the cheaper and better way to go.
