I have developed a case of cyanobacteria in my tank the last few weeks and I have successfully eliminated about 95% as of this morning. But I also have something else growing, there are little white spirals, maybe 2mm wide, growing on the side of my tank and on the limited LR currently present. Does anyone know what these are and if they are harmful. My tank is a 10 gal with a tomato clown, emerald crab, and a little bit of lr. Water quality is zeros in ammonia, nitrites and nitrates. I have two 15 watt compact fluorescent bulbs that plug into an incandescent socket over the tank. I keep the water at 80 F also. Any other questions I will answer and I would greatly appreciate any help. Thank you.
