Cyano on rock??

Is this Cyano on this rock? I added the rock on Wednesday and got home today and seen the red , it is slimy. Can I pull the rock out and scrub off??

Yeah it is. Just cleaning it off won't do you much long term good. You must ind the source of the problem and asses it from there. Cut back on feeding and do bigger/more water changes too. Check your PO4 and Nitrate, because that is what they feed off of.

Ok, I have had no issues and it only popped up on this rock I added, could it have been on it already?

Yeah, maybe. However in order for it to continue spreading to where you noticed it today, there are issues in you water.
