my cycle is done now im just curious how i avoid another cycle what do i feed the tank i have nothing in it right now just the live rock and some hitchhikers that came along with it.

Once your tank has cyceld initially you should not have a cycle again. Just make sure you do not stock your aquarium to rapidly with fish. In saltwater, simply because of the expense, most people never add so many fish at once that this becomes a concern.

The real answer is in the details. I assume you have a tradional marine setup, with sand, live rock, and a protein skimmer.

You wont' feed the tank until you add livestock.
