I am currently experiancing a small out break of cyno bacteria in my sump.
I bought some macro algae from indopacific sea farm that ended up dying which I believe to be the cause. All water parameters are at zero. I treated with chemi-clean but it did not apppear to work this time. So I plan on doing a few water changes over the week, and changing out my rowa phos. Would it be a good idea to add a phosphate reactor to my tank as well or are the waterchanges enough?

IMO do not rush into adding chemicals to the tank. If its only in the sump I would just do water changes and syphon it out of the sump and just watch it. Make sure when you syphon that it does not get sucked up into the tank.
adding a phosban reactor would be ok but if your tank readings are 0 and its only a small amount of cyno I would not spend the money if not needed.
Your sure its cyno?

I have had cyno before and it looks exacly like this. dark red/purple color stringy look and forms tiny bubbles over it.
