Diamond Goby from lfs

I purchased a diamond watchman goby this weekend to help clean my tank sandbed. The moment I put him in, he hasn't been seen since. I think he is hiding...is that normal? Or did he get hurt/injured from the change?

Would you recommend disassembling my tank to find him? I tried to lure him out with mysis shrimp but nothing.

Also, since getting him from the LFS, I have seen increased growth of brown algae on the live rock and sand bed....is this bad? good? nothing to worry about..

Please help

I'm not sure but don't disassemble the tank that's really bad it stirs the bacteria and can cause a mini cycle
