Difference between high range and low range nitrate (ppm)

What is the difference between high rang nitrate and low range nitrate? Right now my kit says I have 20 low range nitrate and 100 high range nitrate. Is this ok or is it dangerous? TIA.......

Which kit do you have? It usualy depends on the amount of water and amount of testing solution you used. Some kits have both a low resolution mode (does more tests) or a high resolution one, or in this case two ranges.
