Does anyone have any experience with Small Pufferfish?

For some reason I really like pufferfish. Unfortunately, I understand they get big and aggressive. However in my fish buying book, two small puffers are listed, namely the Valentini pufferfish and the hawaiian spotted puffer. Im leaning more towards the valentini since it is smaller and i only have a 40 gallon tank. Has anyone had any experience with this fish??

Not nearly enough for this fish .. I am of the opnion of 75 gallon or larger since they are messy fish and require , pristine water conditions ... They generally get 4-6 inches long and are some what active ... these fish require the larger water volume due to being so messy ... I know this is probably not what you want to hear or read but JMHHO Sadie

According to liveaquaria you tank is big enough ... but sometimes I feel that their minimum recommendations are a little small
