Does this acro look ok?

I got this acro frag last week and it is supposed to be a tricolor. I have seen a bit of color at the tips but that is about it. Now it is some algae growth on it. Can I clean this off or it is a goner? It has always been white so I cant really say if it is bleaching.

I have tried moving it a few places but decided to place it in th sand for now.

looks like it's dying, the areas that have algae on them are dead, alge doesn't grow on live tissue. If there is any section that is alive for sure, frag it and hope for the best.

So I should just break it just above the algae line? I guess I will try and break off the 2 tips that look better than the 3rd.
