Anything special to drilling acrylic? I want to drill a pair of 1.50" holes in a aquatic gardens cheapo 5G tank for a fuge. Just need to find something to drill it with and make sure its ok to drill acrylic with a regular bit..Anyone?

yeah, be careful. Its pretty much like drilling anything plastic, but you dont want to get any splintering or cracks, if you do they sell this stuff (looks like water) that seeps in and welds the plastic together. :D happy drilling :D

I belive you want to keep the acrylic cool. You can do this with vegatable oil or if your careful pouring water over the cut surface while your dilling. Drill slowly and tape the place on the front and back of where your drilling to limit chipping and cracking.

Like fishfreek said drill slowly. The heat that builds up will melt the plastic and gum up pretty bad if you go fast.
