DSB and yellow watchman

OK I've read that if you have a DSB that you don't want to stir it up, as far as cleaning etc. This dosen't mean that I can't get a yellow watchman, pistol shrimp, or jawfish right?

Correct. I have a yellow watchman/pistol pair in my tank with LS substrate. No trouble.

I have a pair of watchmans and used to have a pistol (i havent seen it in nearly a year). Even with a DSB I didnt see any negitive effect from the shrimp moving the sand around in piles.
