im not going to buy the threaded one im going to buy the none threaded this way i can just slip my Hose right On it

I don't think that will seal and the pressure wil blow the valve off the hose. You've pretty much got to go with the barbed ends on a hose. With pipe you can use a union. The threaded valve is so you can add the barbed adaptors so it will seal on your hose.

Still wont work. Need the valve with threads and 2 male barb adapters with thread. Then you put teflon tape on the threads of the barbed ends and screw it all together. Then slide the hose onto the barbed ends
