emerald crab

I found my emerald crab on top of my toadstool leather tonight. Will he possibly harm my coral? I thought these guys were reef safe?

Thanks!

I have had a few emerald crabs and yet to have one cause problems in my tank. I have always read they are reef safe.

I don't reef, but there is a bad apple once in a while. I found one hooked on my CC star munching away half way up the glass. At least he was easy to catch.
Just watch him. Chances are he is OK, but with crabs you never know for sure.
