Euro Reef Break In Period

I just bought a Euroreef CS5-3. It's running on a 100 gal with about 100 lbs cured lr and with only a 13 inch queen and a 2 ft tesselata. I hooked up the PS and for some reason, the collection cup is overflowing with water. The riser tube is at its lowest point as it states in the directions.

After calling the lfs, they said that this is due to the break in period, but now its been 2 days and still no changes.

Is this normal and if so what can I do to speed up this process. Thanks

If you added uncured liverock or a water conditioner to the tank this will cause the symptoms you are experiancing.

what can i do to reduce this ??

I don't have uncured live rock in there but i do have amquel and also b-ionic. I use b Ionic every morning. shall i just stop dosing or should i just minimize the amount i put in? in the mean time, should i turn off my skimmer, wash it in warm water, dry and put back in the sump until its time to turn that bad boy back on?

thanks
