Fans for flow

Wher to put my two fans for good water movement in my reef. I have a 65 tall. Should I point them toward the water surface. I also want my corals like my anemone to move with the flow

It really depends on what the flow rate of your power heads are. That will make a difference. Usually you want 10-20 times your tanks volume in GPH of flow. So for you, 650-1300gph would be good for ur tank. But as far as placement. You definitely need one breaking the surface of the water for the gas exchange. I would put them like 1/3 to 1/2 way down from the top on each end, point one up (only till its breaking the surface of the water.) And the other pointed down and towards your rocks but not too far to where u are blowing sand around. hope that helps a little
