I recently purchased new RO/DI cartridges for my RO/DI system - the pre-filter, the carbon filter, the DI resin, and the main membrane. After changing the filters, the PPM was 000. This was about 2 weeks ago. Yesterday, I turned on the TDS meeting and found the inflow was reading normal - approx. 143ppm but the outflow was all over the place and as high as 700ppm. I thought I should change the batteries on the meter but the readings are still very high on the outflow.

Could there be something wrong with the meter considering I just changed the filters??

Yes, there could be. I almost hate to ask, but how did you flush out the new cartridges?
Have you considered getting a handheld TDS pen?

I flush them once a week.

I am not sure if you said there is something wrong with the meter??

Where can I get a handheld TDS pen??

Thanks for your reply.
