I have just got some live muscle from the fish market to feed my copper band should I boil them up first before I feed him ??

I put them in fresh and all my fish are at it copperband a swell

I all so like frozen foods just like my fish

If I'm not mistaken feeding fresh food is a parasite concern. It might not be a bad idea to cook it.

Anything I buy at the grocery store and I would eat is good enough for the fish. Cooking it reduces it nutrient content and also causes it to come apart in the water too fast. JMO

You can feed the fish uncooked food but freezing it first will kill off parasites. Better safe than sorry imho

Good point, I always freeze my home made food. But there is nothing I add that could not be eaten raw without concerns of parasites.
