Feeding Anemone

Can you feed an anemone a small scallop? Its a meaty piece of meat and is conveniently 1/2" in diameter.

I mix scallops in my blender mush for the tank and feed it straight to the anemones occasionally too.

I feed mine minced scallops and minced shrimp. Make sure that the pieces are small otherwise they will "spit it out". I have also read that it is better to feed them cooked pieces . If you have not fed them before, don't be alarmed when a few days later this stringy brown goo is released. i fed mine freeze dried brime shrimp from my feeding stick. Ate it up... Also some small parts of raw shrimp...
