I know the camel shrimp is nocturnal and eats algae, but I don't have too much algae in my tank now. I've read that camel shrimps eat flakes but I've never had luck with them eating any. Should I be concerned about them not getting food?

Not really. They will eat whatever the fish do not and even what they do when they are done with it.. Shrimp are scavengers and will eat just about anything that can be consumed. With camels though, they won't stop at that, they are quite destructive so it's good this is an FOWLR.

I would be concerned about it eating my corals. These are bad bad shrimp for a reef. Good for a fish only though. Should eat anything that smells like fish!
