So I got this guy from the lfs the other day, I noticed his tail fin had a tear in it and I figured it was just something from shipping. The fish looks healthy and is eating fine, very active also. Is this something I should worry about, or you guys think it will heal up.

Patience is a virtue my friend...

It doesn't look like fin rot to me. Is it getting worse? Looks like whatever he may have been housed with took some shots at it.

If its acting normal and eating plus active, I'd say just keep an eye on it but I don't think FR.

Good talk?

Thanks for the reply. Again he seems to be doing well.

No worries, sometimes it just takes a little bit. Threads get lost sometimes when a lot of people post. I happened to come across it and figured I'd offer my opinion.

Glad the fish is doing well.
