So I got this finger coral Friday night . It opened up nice for a few hours Saturday but since then it has been slumped over with no polyp extension . I just got in from work to find it looks like its shedding . It has a thin mucous like crud coming off. What makes them shed and is it bad that its doing it?
Parameters
0 ammo,0 trite, .25 no3 p04 .04, ca 430 ,Alk 10.4 mag 1500, salinity 1.026 and temp is 80. Thanks

I got a large leather it's never slumped over when shedding.
Got a pic

Maybe slumped over wasn't a good choice of words. It's just not extended .

They do it all the time, sometimes a lot and other a little. My fish eat the big pieces floating in the water.
They do like some flow to help get it off them.
Normal growth for a leather
