Fish response to new lights

I was upgrading my lights in preparation to going to a nano-reef. I have a 20L and added an Orbit 40w Dual Daylight and (1) 40w Dual Actinic. As soon as I fired up the new lights my Clowns immediately retreated to their home in a fake anenome. One kind of stopped swimming and would sit on the bottom while the other would not leave the anenome.

Is it normal for these fish to retreat like this. How should I acclimate them to the new light. I have heard of a screen method where you add a few layers of screen and each day you remove a layer, but this was more for acclimating corals. Should I even worry about the fish or should they be fine after a short adjustment period.

the fish will probably be fine, but you might want to shorten the time the lights are on for the next few days.
