Anyone have any good ideas about what livestock i should have in my 65 gallon reef. All i have now is a tomato clownfish. The tank is 36×18×24 and i have a 30 gallon sump. Im up for any ideas. Thank you

first question that needs to be asked how old is the tank?
what type of corals are you leaning towards ect

Tank is about 2 months old. Sps and lps. Its a high flow tank with a deep sand bed.

I would love to get a tang. Do you think a bird nose wrasse would be to big. Its my favorite fish

I think the kole tang would make a perfect fit

bird nose wrasse they get to be about a foot I seen a full grown one in a 90g tank poor guy looked cramped

The are definitely a beautiful fish though. Especially the males.

Most of the other small wrasses and most blennies would be good additions. A small pair of clown fish would also do. I would not recommend any tang in a tank this size. Even Kole tangs need some browsing room. But there are literally hundreds of other colorful fish that will do just fine in your system.

I really want like a centerpiece fish per se. Something around 6" long full grown that can be reef safe

A 6" fish in a 65 gallon tank is going to be a challenge. There may be something suitable, but it's not a tang.

Thats more like a ballpark. Just something not so small i have to be with in a foot of my tank to see

Marine Betta(comet).
Pretty laid back grouper.
Would probably do fine in your tank.
This is one of mine;
