Please help,
My Flame Angel has just been introduced to my tank. It seems to have been stressed from capture at my LFS.
Yesterday it was swimming on its side and with it's head up.
Today it seems to be more upright when swimming but still swims with its head up.
When stationary slightly on its side with head up.
It is still refusing to eat at this stage.

Water quality is ammonia=0, nitrite=0, nitrate=5ppm, temp=26C, ph=8.3, specific gravity=1.023

Are these swimming habits only due to stress and will they improve as fish adjusts to new enviroment.

Tank mates are 2 ocellaris clowns and 1 Royal dottyback which seem fine.

Not IME, the fish could have injested some air during capture or have developed a swim bladder infection. I don't know how you might remedy the injested air, if it is a swim bladder infection the fish should be quarantined and medicated with a broad spectrum antibiotic.
