Flow for a 3g Cube

Hey guys, I'm deciding on what to use for flow on my 3g cube. It will be softies and LPS. I was originally going to use an AC50, but I feel like all the flow is going to be hitting the surface. Should I go to a 260 gph power head I have instead?
