Foam filters on return pump?

Do you run a foam filter on your return pump or just a screen?

I use the foam. but clean it like once a month

Foam. One little thing... I learned qucikly to turn it off before you remove it to clean. Otherwise, you'll get a huge amount of incoming gunk to your tank as the pump is still a pumping when you agitate the filter - and the gunk.
