I received a Gorgonian from reefs2go yesterday. It opened up shortly after acclimation but had one branch bent from shipping pretty good. This morning the bent area looks dead. I've never fragged one and was wondering can I just cut it and glue the cut end? Will it cause the remainder of the branch to die off?

lol, nice. I got a purple sea whip which is a gorgonian as well from reefs2go and I was wondering depending on how it does in my tank and if it grows nice if or how it can be propagated too. I think it will look neat to have the back wall with the different color gargo's depending on the life span. I dug mine into the front left corner of my tank into the sand for now - opened up within an hour the little polyps came out.

Nice. I also picked up a purple and a yellow on the same order

You did right. Be advised though they are hard to keep alive in the home aquarium. Make sure of frequent pwc's and pristine water conditions.

wow nice. The purple one I got is the medium one, yours looks much wider than mine. Ill see if I can throw up a picture
