I think this coral is called Hydropora (though I’m not sure). It is a little green SPS very similar to another I’ve got that I’ve been calling Pavona. Does anyone have any experience fragging Hydropora? My guess is to snap off a “finger” and super glue it to a plug. But before I tried it, I was hoping someone else had some thoughts on it.

I have used the snap method of fragging, and it works, but a better way is to use a strong pair of sheers, like trauma sheers (the ones the paramedics carry, I have cut pennies and quarters in half with those) or even small tin snips. Then superglue to the plug. If your using plugs I would recommend gluing outside the tank, I actually prefer to do it out of water, then place the frag in a bowl of tank water until it stops sliming. Then you can put it in your main tank or your frag tank.
