I have a question about my frogspawn growing. What do they look like when they split. Here is a pic of mine. Does it split from the center like the mouth gets bigger then splits into two?

Thats not how i look at it. You need to look at it from the side, when its spliting you can kinda see the tissue splitting down the middle and it forms 2 lumbs... Mait for the coral to close up and then look at it from the side. Pist a puc and we will tell you if its splitting or not

I will get another pic in the morning. I know he is getting bigger and I see what looks like him branching off my main question is . If they split down the middle then wouldn't their mouth get real big until it splits into two forming the second mouth?

Right now it has one head, but it looks like its starting to split and the mouth looks like its getting larger and stretching like its going to split to form the other mouth

How do they split? What does it look like , that's what I'm trying to figure out.

I think in one head, it will have 2 mouths then the new mouth would form its own head. Thats whats happening to mine. Not 100% sure, hope someone here could clarify that

I read the same thing, there will be a new mouth and it will separate from the host body.

they just swim through it, but they never stay

Gotcha, I am hoping mine stay on my torch. Anyhow, looking at that original picture, I'd say your frogspawn is splitting, update with pics along the way!

I did notice this spirally white thing growing on the stalk/base of my frogspawn, any one know what it is?

A worm it's fine. Filter feeder that spits out a web to net things in the water then sucks it back in to eat what it catches. Neat to watch
