I have a lot of aptasia in my tank, 37 gal. I bought 4 peppermint shrimp and they are hiding. I'm hoping they will get used to their new home but I'm ready to start stocking some corals in the tank and want to get rid of these things,at least the big ones. When you say "inject them with..." do you mean with a hypodermic needle or dose them with something in a pipette?

Peppermints are usually more active at night. Look at the tank with the lights out and a flashlight, to see if they come out. Sometimes Peppermints won't eat them, sometimes they do. They worked for me, but I've seen many cases where they won't.
A hypodermic needle would be best, for the larger ones.

Thanks! I wasn't sure about the term "injecting". I've tried dousing them with Joe's Juice with a pipette and it worked on some but not all.

I know I have enough aptasia to keep the shrimp happy for awhile, if I could only get them out of hiding.... I'll have to find a flashlight:)
