I got one little Aiptasia on a Star Polyp coral I just bought.

I want to kill that sucker. What can I do to get rid of it ASAP?

Can I just cut the little fella at the base where it meets the LR?

or will it grow back?

I know about joes juice and all those solutions but since it's just one I figured I could yank it before it became a problem.

Since its on the rock with the Coral I dont want to hit it with some boiling water.

Thanks

If you cut it off it will grow back. If you can get your hands on a syringe you can try injecting it with some white vinegar or kalk.

ok...
I have a syringe from several of my testing kits that will be good.

If I just hit it with a little shot of white Vinegar it should bite the dust and the corals
and water will be fine ?

the Aiptasia is right next to a gew polyps. just want to make sure they will be ok

Thanks

well I am thinking to just order the Joe Juice for 7 bucks.

it will be here next week if I order it tonight or tommorow.

The only worry I have is what are the reproduction characterictics of Aiptasia?
and will that sucker get up and move somewhere else?

Will it be ok to let it hang out until the Joe's juice shows up?
