Glue and cyan (red slime) relation

I have noticed a correlation between super glue with cyanoacrylate as a base ingredient with cyano bacteria, the infamous red slime algae.

I only seem to have an outbreak when glueing frags to plugs. Other than stating the obvious, what else can we take from this?
