I fed my yellow watchman goby his weekly shrimp pellet today and he started breathing very slowly and has his mouth gaping open, i can see what seems to be it stuck in his throat.
How can i get it out?

Surely it would soften or dissolve before it causes him harm??? Good grief :( So sorry hope someone can help!

I caught him and tried to break it up with a tooth pick, didnt work much but its def mushy. He is still choking though!!!

I fed him frozen mysis today, his daily meal, and he zoomed out and gobbled it up. Hes doing fine now.

Oh good! I was so bummed no one else chimmed in with help.

just for future feedings, try soaking it in water for 5-10 minutes before giving it to him, I do this with all my food for this exact reason.
