Ok I'll do that. I think I'll aim for 1.024 so its higher but not so different from his. Does that sound good?

I try and maintain 1.025. And never let it get above 1.026 before topping off. I really need a ato. Lol. But u should be fine with that as long as you get your desired levels. You should with quality salt.

Instant ocean reef crystals is probably the most popular. But there are more and more high quality salts nowadays. Shop around though. Petco by my house sells reef crystals for $80 a bucket. Online it's $54 for a 160g bucket, and $55 for a 200g box at marinedepot.com. Ive seen it's as low as $60 at a lfs by my house.
