Got the pump Now i need a new wet/dry , any suggestions ?

I went and got the mag 12 and i dont think the wet dry and prefilter im running now will keep up with the increase in flow. So deos anyone have any suggestions on a good deal for a wet/dry?

I saw a 300g 1200gph wetdry on ebay with a protien skimmer included and it costs 289.00. Does anyone know if this is any good or if there is a better deal out there?

could you just enlarge the holes in the w/d tjo allow more water flow?

I dont know? Maybe. The other thing is that the current pump im running is external and i wanted to use the mag 12 in sump but it wont fit witht he skimmer in there.

So i guess if i could find a way to drill some holes and get more flow and just use the new pump as in line that it would save me a lot of money.

Is there any advantage to running the pump in sump or external? Will the pump last longer if it in the sump submerged?
