Well I just got back from Vegas and if anyone can get there I would recommend going to the Mirage and seeing the tank behind the check in counters. It is a 20,000 gallon tank with many different types of fish, just amazing! Also at the Forum shops at Caesars palace there is a very large fish tank too. It is at the very end near the Search For Atlantis ride. Also a must see. Just thought I would share a little of my amazement in Las Vegas for this unique hobby of ours.

the fishtank at the mirage is good and all, but you haven't seen nothin till u go to mandalay bay and see the enire aquarium they have there, or the dolphin show at caesar's palace, now both of those are really amazing!!!

There was a sushi bar that had a cool tank with jelly fish. Mandalay Bay also had one!

you know your the man when you have dolphins, wow.Wonder why micheal dont have that ****?lol

There was on at a restaurant at the Disney Land Village place that I was at a year and a half ago (we stopped in LA on our way back from Mexico) and they had a really nice tank there. It was really nice to see next to the beautiful fish and have dinner, and I don't think that there was any on the menu.

I don't know if you got over to Caesar's or not but they have a tank that is about the same size as the one at the Mirage. The only thing thats different is that they conduct tours in the basement of the whole operation.

I was out there in Jan. and got a personal tour of the basement. The day my wife and I were there the sign for the times for the tours was not there, so I asked a worker if they were going to have tours that day, so he called the aquarist in the basement. They told him that they were not because the elevator was on the fritz. But if it was just the two of us we could take the stairs. HeckYeah! so the guy came up and got us and we stayed down in the operation rooms for an hour and a half, WOW!

Needless to say it was the highlight of my trip! The head aquarist escorted us back up to the main lobby when we were done and gave me his card. He told me to call him any time if I had any questions. I have called and he's given me some advise.

The best part of it was seeing their personal tanks and experiments behind the seens. I'll never forget that trip.
