I have just noticed one of my turbo snails sitting right in the middle of my new green polyp coral. I took him off and it looks like he was sucking the life out of a couple of the stems.
Are these species not good together in a tank?
My LFS did not mention it when I got the polyp (and he knew I had TS).
Do I need to get rid of one or the other?.

He may have gotten lost or was eating algae on the stem of the coral. They are herbiverous. The polyp was retracted from the irritation.

Agreed, unless it really isn't a turbo snail................
