GSP Growth.

Last week I picked up a 2X2 piece of green star polyps from a local hobbyist around here. The pieces as well as the rest he gave me are doing great my question is in anyones experience who owns them. How fast do they grow? Should I propagate to make more or let me spread on their own?

I would just let them spread on their own. Be cautious though, they can grow rather quickly and removing them from LR is almost impossible w/ out removing and scrubbing the rock. Also they do have a fairly potent sting when another coral or anemone encroaches on them or vice versa.

after reading up on them I have found out the same exact thing, they spread like weeds and do so with a strong current. I actually found a pic of some that got a bit out of hand. Thought you all might find it interesting.
