Halide Vs Compact

Is there a true benefit to Halide besides the power of the bulbs or does it all come down to WPG?

halides are way worth the money if ya want to keep stonies but for most soft ya be ok with pc !! but id buy the halides and add 2 pc o3 bulbs then ya sky the limit almost !! on ya 90 id go with 2x 250 watt bulbs !!!

I just bought the set up steve is talking about for my 45G tank. I got a 250 watt halide with two PC 03 actinics. Do halides beat the poop outta PC in worth and benefits? IMO.. "Oh yeah!"

once you see a good halide setup youll never go back to pc's. The Shimmer lines alone sell it
