HELP Fluval filter BROKEN

My fluval 404 broke tonight, how long will my fish be able to go with out it?

i have 70 pounds of live rock, skimmer, 2 power heads, 3" sand bed.
with 2 clown fish, 1 yellow tang, 1 blue damsel, 2 hum bugs, a mushroom and a pulsing zenia.

Not long. What broke on it? Have you any contacts with the Winnipeg Aquarium Society (one of the members may be able to get you the needed part/s before morning)?

No no contacts with them... didnt know they did that stuff.

So are you implying i'm screwed until morning and just hope that my fish wont die?

Have you any air pumps, that you can aerate both your tank and filter media?

isnt that what power heards do? I have 2 of them shooting out good pressure....

i wouldn't worry about it too much. most people don't even like putting in canister filters.

My 10 year old 303 broke over the weekend. I set up a powerhead to pump water through the dead filter and on to my chiller.

I am planning on buying a new canister filter tomorrow.
