Does anyone know what this is growing on my zoanthid?

Can you describe it? It looks like it could be a sponge or even bubble algae. Hard to tell.

No it's not bubble algae. It's more fleshy and a light color. One piece had orange spots on it. I've never seen anything like it before.

Ok I took the coral out if the aquarium and took this picture.


I pulled the stuff off of the coral with aquarium tweezers and it had a lot of clear liquid inside.
