i wanna use one of my 2 cascade 300
for it
any ideas how to go about it?
and what macroalgae to get?
lighting ?
how long to light?
what substrate to use?

Here is what I did:

The basic idea is that you need to setup a baffle inside the filter and create a low flow area for the macro. I used extra pieces from the filter to setup a baffle, water only flows over the baffle, then out the filter. No water is rushing directly through the Macro, just passing over it. Lighting will depend on the Macro you select, some is fine on 24/7 lighting, others need less.

my cascade has a flow control valve
to slow down the water flow during feeding
maybe i could do that

any ideas on the baffle?
maybe i could use the used cartridge and somehow mod it
(break it apart
and use the small slots to slow down the flow)
(take out the carbon)
