How deep a DSB for a 55gal?
How deep should my DSB be for a 55gal? Is about 3 inches deep enough, or what is the recommended depth?

that should be fine. For a DSB to actually work as designed it needs to be 5-6inches deep. With enough LR you should be doing fine.

Opinions vary on DSB almost everyone i have talked to friends and people in the bussiness have said good or bad things about them. I have about 3-4 inches in my 125gal and i think thats plenty.
