Two times now, the latest this morning, I've noticed a "mini clam" maybe about 1/4" long beside the "big clam". How do they reproduce? Will this work in a tank?

Most likely it is a hitchhiker and may not even be the same kind. It is hard to get clams to try to spawn in captivity, and as far as I know impossible to raise the offspring in a tank.

The small one is probably a turkey wing clam. As mentioned above it`s probably a hitchiker broght in with your LR.

I love having all that kind of stuff in my tank, natural filter feeders.
