I've read/heard numerous times after mixing kalk before using ranging from 1 hour up until 24 hours. The most common times I've seen are 5-8 hours. I currently let mine sit in the fridge for 5 hours before use. What about everone else, and do you refridgerate it? BTW, what exactly does chilling it do?

I do not refridgerate mine, nor do I do any additional cooling, the water achieves room temp (approx 76*F) and that is probably cool enough. Cooling the water actually helps more kalk powder dissolve in the water. I let mine sit anywhere from 4 hours to overnight depending on how quick I need it.

I usually let mine sit in the fridge after I mix it after I get home from work (5pm) and then start dripping around 10 pm.
